Man's body is mortal unlike his soul which is immortal. He tastes the death but never dies.
The first fact is that Paradise, which is as wide as heavens and earth, where there is what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, and where man can have an increasing and everlasting rejoice, has only one price in this worldly life. This price could be represented by many deeds, but all of them are paid for one thing only; the price could being discipline, being patient and being obedient to Allah and following the Divine Method.
Lusts are installed by Allah in mankind even in the Prophets, may Allah have peace and blessings upon them. Had not Prophet Muhammad, may Allah have peace and blessings upon him, been a human being, he wouldn't have been the Master of mankind. He, may Allah have peace and blessings upon him experienced fear and hunger, and he had desires like all human beings, but he overcame his worldly tendencies, by fulfilling the purpose of his existence
